Niamh Sutton aims to be another rising star in music journalism.

A piano player since she was 7, she completed multiple Australian Music Education Board certificates for piano as a teenager and hopes to make a return one day soon to earn a few more. Her deep understanding of music from a performer's perspective gives her writing an insightful edge. She has a love for music spanning many years, genres and styles. She knows what's changed, and what's unique.

In recent years, she has worked as both a roadie and a media assistant for bands touring throughout Victoria, gaining hands-on experience in the industry she now covers with passion and insight.

Why else would Niamh be interviewing rockers and die-hard fans at 1am in the morning?

I acknowledge the Dja Dja Wurrung People, the Traditional Owners of the land that I work and live on. I pay my respects to leaders and Elders past, present and emerging, for they hold the memories, traditions, culture and hopes of all Dja Dja Wurrung People.
